How does a website develop?
Initial consultation
We discuss your ideas, including color palette, collateral (logos and other preexisting marketing materials), and the overall look and feel of your website.
Comps
When the first round of designing is done, you'll be given comp(s) of your website. A comp is basically a large graphic that looks the way your finished site will look, but has no functionality.
Development of Content
This stage is done simultaneously with the comp stage. You can write your own content, or we can write it for you. Learn More.
Revision of Comps
You have a chance to revise the design, and suggest alterations, additions, etc
HTML Build-Out
When you're satisfied with the design, you sign off and we cut it up and build it out into a website. This includes any rollovers or animation presented in the design.
Programming
If your site requires advanced programming (e.g., a database driven shopping cart, a chat room, a bulletin board), the programmers will install those functions.
Launch
When the website has been tested and reviewed, we upload your site to your domain and you are live!
Marketing
For clients who wish, we can provide banners, pop-ups, and other marketing materials. We are also experts in search engine ranking optimization.
Maintenance
Once your site is complete, we're available for an hourly fee for ongoing maintenance.
